Social justice and equality
- Recognize the national rights of Aboriginal peoples and Quebec to self-determination, up to and including the right of secession, and draft a new constitution based on an equal and voluntary partnership of the Aboriginal peoples, Quebec, and English-speaking Canada
- Legislate full pay and employment equity
- Provide abortion and reproductive rights services in every province and territory
- Enact mixed-member proportional representation and the right to recall MPs
- Repeal the Anti-Terrorism Act and abolish secret detention without trial, “national security” certificates, the “no-fly list” and other security state laws which target the Muslim and South Asian communities, aboriginal peoples, and the civil rights of all Canadians
- Reverse Tory changes to the Immigration Act (C-50)
- Adopt a Labour Bill of Rights to guarantee the rights of workers to organize, bargain collectively, take political action, and strike
